It seems like there’s an app out there for everything these days. If you’re a busy, on the go, business person and you are looking for your technology to help guide you on your way -we have an app for that. Here are three very interesting and very innovative apps that will help you be more productive being you.
Humin: Free App
This app is great if you are doing a lot of networking (or if you just really have trouble remembering names in general). It can remember all the tiny details about how and where you met someone. All you need is someone’s number, and Humin will do the rest. If you can’t remember the person, you can search by things like ” met last week”, “emailed last week” or “lives in Chicago.” With a phone number or email address, Humin can tell if you have mutual friends or who’s in town or who will be at your next meeting. Pretty neat.
Timeful: Free App
This is a calendar app mixed with a to-do list. This intelligent app learns how you get stuff done and then suggests ways to build new habits and get things taken care of differently. The intelligent assistance to make the most of your time is the most unique and valuable part of this app. It collects everything you need to do and finds good times to get things done. It takes things straight from your to do list and puts them on your calendar in a “suggested” sort of game plan for your day. You can change this calendar and check things off your list. It then learns your habits and preferences and adjusts accordingly. It is easy to use and a great way to get on a more efficient and productive path.
Workflow: $2.99
This app lets you customize your phone so that you can skip time-wasting tasks. Using great automation, you can tell your phone what to do when a certain action happens. For example, when you take a photo it can upload it to Twitter. When you have an appointment at a certain place, it can call an Uber for you. From the Workflow site, “Workflow includes actions that utilize the content on your device and interact with your favorite apps. With over 200 actions, the possible combinations are endless.” If you want to give your phone and instruction, and let it run with it – this is the app for you. A little personal assistant doing the time wasting tasks you need done so that you can focus on more important things. This is a great productivity app!
