Hello! We’re Jim Nagy & Susan Steele, and we are so glad you’re here. We’ve both been involved with technology for a very long time, and we love what we do. Our passion is taking complicated things and making them easy to use – a trademark of our approach to website design.
Who We Are
Jim is the designer and primary technician at J&S Tech Designs. With over 20 years in information technology, he is an expert in software development, user interface design and business applications.
Susan handles the business processes and quality assurance at J&S Tech Designs and has been known to help with site building a fair amount of times as well.
Our lead developer, Allen Nowak, carries out and implements our client’s ideas, through the designs that Jim develops. He does much of the technical behind-the-scenes work.
For all of us, J&S Tech Designs is more than just a business – it represents the culmination of our many years of experience. Our clients benefit not only from our technical know-how, but also from our understanding of how business works in the real world.
How We Work
If you’re interested in working with J&S Tech Designs, before we even meet, we’ll take a hard look at your existing website, if you have one. We’ll be ready to ask you what works and what doesn’t, what you’d like to keep and what you’d like to change.
We’ll then ask you to take a look at your competitor’s websites and identify what you like and don’t like about those, too. But most importantly, we’ll ask you what you need your website to do for your business that it doesn’t do today.
As we learn more about your business, we’ll add our own ideas. We’ll ask you questions like, “Have you thought about…”; “Did you know you could do this…”; “What about…” These leading questions can help you begin to frame out in your mind everything your website could do for your business. Hopefully we’ll uncover a few options you might not have known even existed!
Ultimately, we’ll work hard to give your website design the look and feel that you want. The content management system is a bonus for you – allowing you to update your own content without having to come back to us for every little change.
